Celebration of Hope by Michelle Humble

Its almost that time of year; wait a minute...it IS that time of year. I don't know if you have seen the memes or not featuring Will Ferrel as a jolly elf pointing out the minuscule number of fridays left until Christmas; I believe we are under 10! Here at Tiqvah celebrating Christmas is a joy. We love talking with our students about the hope that was brought to us through a tiny baby in the manger all those years ago. They love sharing the hopes they have with our staff.

This year, we decided to share that excitement with you. Why? For those who have been involved with us, you maybe have experienced it first hand. That conversation with a child about the things in life they hope for and how you being there is part of making that possible. It is a life changing discussion for both the child and the adult. We felt like more people needed to know and experience that wonderful moment. We developed this event with friends who may not be involved yet with Tiqvah in mind.

On November 19th at 9:30am we would love to invite you and your friends to brunch at Glenmoor Country Club. During brunch we are going to have some students and staff share about their experiences and hopes for the future to celebrate the season. There will also be an opportunity to win a beautifully decorated Christmas tree, ornaments made by our students to purchase in support of our program, and a hot chocolate bar.

Please consider joining us for this delicious festive brunch, Celebration of Hope. What better way to celebrate hope than to see it with your own eyes in the lives of our students. To reserve your spot click here.
